Our Mission: Real Gaming, Real Numbers. No Hype.
Let’s be honest. The world of PC hardware can be a mess of confusing marketing, sponsored videos, and just plain bad advice. We got tired of it. That’s why we started JoltGamer, built on one simple idea: the numbers should do the talking.
We’re a crew of PC builders, benchmark fanatics, and gamers who’ve spent way too many hours tinkering with our rigs. We believe everyone—from the first-time builder to the seasoned pro—deserves clear, honest, and battle-tested info before spending their hard-earned cash.
We don’t just look at hardware; we tear it down. We don’t just run a benchmark; we dig into the results to tell you what they actually mean for your games. Our mission is to be the friend you can trust to help you build a better PC, play smarter, and feel confident in every part you buy.
What We Stand For
- Straight-Up Testing: Our reviews are backed by serious, repeatable testing. We’ll show you our methods so you know our results are the real deal.
- Gaming First: Lab numbers are fine, but we care more about how hardware performs in the games you actually play. FPS, smooth gameplay, and real-world feel are what matter to us.
- Honesty is Everything: Our site is supported by affiliate links (it helps us keep the lights on), but our opinions are never for sale. If a product is great, we’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it’s garbage, we’ll tell you to save your money. Simple as that.
Meet the JoltGamer Crew
Our guides and reviews are written by people who are obsessed with PC gaming. We want you to know exactly who is giving you advice.
Leo Grant, Senior Hardware Editor
Leo comes from the world of professional hardware labs, and he brought the charts with him. He lives for data and believes the only way to know if something is good is to test it to its limits. When Leo gives a piece of gear the thumbs up, it’s because he has the cold, hard numbers to prove it’s a winner.

Jenna Diaz, PC Building Editor
Jenna’s passion started by helping friends ditch their consoles and build their first real gaming rigs. Her superpower is making PC building feel easy, not scary. Her guides break everything down into simple steps because she knows exactly what it feels like to be a first-time builder. Her goal is to help you build with confidence.

Samuel Ross, Technology Editor
Sam has been in the tech game for years. He’s the guy who can look at a brand-new chip and tell you not just what it does, but why it matters for the games you’ll be playing next year. He connects the dots between the techy stuff and the actual FPS you see on screen, helping you understand the bigger picture.

Chris Morgan, Peripherals Editor
As a former competitive FPS player, Chris knows the pain of losing a match because of bad gear. He’s obsessed with how peripherals feel when the pressure is on. He tests mice, monitors, and headsets from a player’s point of view, focusing on the stuff that gives you a real edge in-game.
